Role of Technologist and Importance of Project Management in any Organization

Abstract

This article talks about the Technologist Role in any Organization. Why we need to have Technologist any field especially in the software field. Software companies are services oriented organization where we need to have man power to run the companies. Software companies should have infrastructure like data centers/Computers and Networking (WAN) or Ready made Workstation which are popular now in the world for startup companies where we can have less investment in the infrastructure. 


Introduction

In any Software company  should have at least Minimum infrastructure and it is like a heart and Technologist are backbone in the software industry and brain act like CEO of the Company. The down line Managers will monitor or make sure that everything goes fairly without any problems in the body. It is only comparison of human body with the software company.

The TCP Career Path very important for each of one in the initial stages of the career, Later one after getting the experience the employees will choose their interest field and they should have select the career path with the help of their managers or the business heads.

In India or other countries 80% of the Resources will have TCP Career Path, it will be difficult to reach PCP and MCP paths. Generally in the PCP Path there are 16.5 Millions of Project Managers are there in the world out of these around 28 lakhs Resources are Certified Project Managers in the software industry in the world. Where as In India we have only 1 Lakh Certified Project Managers are there out of these only 20000 to 25000 Project Managers are working in the Indian Software companies.

With the usage of Project Management software the team communication improved by 52% and 44% of the Businesses Who are Using the Project Management Software's  says that the Quality of the final Project deliverables  are higher.

While Agile, Waterfall, Six Sigma, and Muri are the most popularly Used Project Management Methodologies. These include Scrum, Lean, Kanban, and PMBOK. On the other hand, PRINCE2 is the least popular project management methodology.  

Every where More than half of all projects are fail. In the IT sector, 17% of the IT projects are fail so significantly that they could bankrupt the whole company.

My Recommend use the Project Management Software's and  follow the any one of the Project Management Methodology depends on the Situation or based on the availability.
