The above Photograph is When Ravindra Babu was in HP Received CIO AWARD as a Project Manager for the PIM Project. The PIM Project was in High Risk Project which is Bottleneck for MPE Program to Go-live.

In the Middle of the PIM Project, the Project went on High Risk (RED) escalated to the CIO (Randy Mart), and there was no one is able to handle the Project. The Managers asked me takeover the Project which was on the Red, Then tookover the Project and delivered the Project with the Same quality, With the less Resources and delivered within the budget with the same schedule ( ontime ).

The Project when i was tookover it is all messed up, the transports are bouncing and many issues are in the Programs and bouncing in the Production. Some of the Programs our team is re-written and corrected designs and the issues. Our Whole team is got appreciated and Given the CIO Team Award.

DURATION - 2011-2016

1.  STREAMLINING SUPPORT FOR BOSCH INDIA

My First Responsibility was Support, When i joined the Bosch, the Support whole thing was messed up and lot of Production issues coming every month, not able to address and handle by anyone. I took over the Support start digging the issues and finding the root causes of the issues, fixing all the issues with my support Teams like Asp. Net , Java and SAP Teams.

Every month the Issues are Reporting the teams targeting the Major issues which are causing the issues and fixing it and this continuously our teams are working the support tickets are coming down every month, finally the teams are achieved the goal after SIx months. All the Ticket Resolving Status is Green and fixing the issues every month 100%. Team achieved with the team work they put tremendous efforts to bring the support to good status and streamlining the support Process with Good KPIs.

2.  DEFINING THE SUPPORT PROCESS FOR BOSCH WORLDWIDE ( P5 PROCESS )

The 2nd Major Achievement is to define the Support Process for Robert Bosch Worldwide. Ravindra babu wrote a Support Manual and when i went to Germany , shown a support manual to the Support Manager in Germany, They Said Go through and give the feedback.

After some days got a call from Germany we need have a workshop in Chaina, You need to fly, Then went to Chaina for workshop to finalize the Support Process for Bosch worldwide. Representatives are came from Germany, Australia, Japan, Korea including from Chaina. In the one week Workshop we have gone through the manual and finalize the most of the things from that and some of the things are redefined. The Process is called P5 Process for support worldwide. Later on trained the Indian teams in Coimbatore, Bangalore and Nasik, Jaipur teams.

When Faunctious ( Father of UBKRM ) is came to india appreciated the efforts we put in the defining the Process.

There is one Project which is Cloud Integration with SAP Systems through SAP XI/PI, this is automation of accommodation booking through the Software in the cloud.

3.  SRM IMPLEMENTATION ( BONAPARTE )

Another Milestone was Bonaparte (SRM) Implementation for Bosch India including all the Purchasing departments. SRM Implementation is implemented accross Bosch India, Planned for Six Company Code and 13 Plants Spanning Nasik, Jaipur, Naganathpura and Audugudi Plants. For this Project could not get the Project Manager and no one is coming forward to take up this Project and this is very tough customer and they have struggled to complete the Project in the fist phase.  So took up as a Challenge and myself taken up the role and Implemented in the two Phases with Parallel Phase Concept which is implemented both the phases simultaneously with less cost and with no defects.

Then myself took up the Projects and talk the customer,  Planned for two Phases of Implementation for all the Six Company Codes. This is SPAN india Bosch Project,  The Vice Presidents and Group Managers who are supporting me to do and completing the Project and appreciated.

This Implementation done in with short duration of Six Months and with less budget of 45 Lakhs and without compromising the Quality of the deliverables. This Implementation has been done in Parallel Phase Concept where the Two Projects ( 2 different Phases ) are taken up Simultaneously with overlapping some of the Phases and delivering the two Projects at a time with the same Resources.

There is 10 Member Searing Committee Including Vice Presidents, Each Location Purchasing heads and from ICOs.

Rest the Project team Includes two SRM Consultants, 40 Member Testing team includes 10 Member Testing team from each location from four sites. (Nasik, Jaipur, Naganathpura and Audugudi ), Security teams, ICO Teams and Consultants from Chaina  and Germany ( SRM Architect ) , Germany Purchasing Head - Secretary ,  Four UD Project Managers from each location of Bosch India, One Test Manager from Bangalore . The total Team Strength around 60 Members  Team.

All the Phases are went well, but the Bottleneck was Testing, then we Planned four teams for four locations and we need to have four SRM Consultants for four locations, But we have only two.

Then decided to sent two SRM Consultants one to Jaipur and another one for Nasik. So i was planning to handle both the locations of Bangalore with the help of UD Project Managers .  Struggled and put hard work by whole team in Testing and Completed with in Schedule  and went live successfully without any Production issues.

End Result of the Project is , The Purchase Order earlier it was taking 20 to 25 Minutes to complete one Purchase order after automation it took only 5 to 6 Minutes .  If you look at the Longer duration there is lot of Time Saving and intrun saving the many PMOs accross one year.

Appreciated by all the Purchasing Heads and Prasanna who is Vice President for Purchasing india.

MGR / VIT Universities
( Duration - 1993-1994)

My first Job was Lecturer in MGR University for Mathes for Final and Third Year Students., Drawing for 1st Year Students from 1993-994.

One of the Best SAP Implementation in my Career is National Cement Company, Dubai. In This worked as Team Lead and Played important role in the Implementation.

Here Implemented all the Modules of SAP, Couple of Major Achievements in the Implementation is Weight Bridge Interface with the SAP, Month End  Invoice Generation for the Customers to have single Consolidated Invoice in SAP.

The first SAP Payroll Implementation in Middle east is done by me and the Payslip is generated in the National Cement Company in the Pre-printed format which is Configured by me.

Month End Invoice - It is Unique Requirement by the National cement Company,  National Cement has Regualar and frequent, Daily Customers. The Issue is National Cement Company is Generating many Invoices for one Customer for every month. The Customer said we want only one Invoice at the end of the month, don't want multiple Invoices.

Myself designed to have Consolidated invoice including all the invoice which are accumulated at the end of the Month. It is implemented in 2000, Even now the Company  Runs with SAP Successfully without any issues. It is one of the Good End to End SAP Implementation for me.

Weigh Bridge Interface - This is also Critical Requirement for National Cement Company. The Company Produces the Mass Production and Sell the Cement with trucks without bags, They will fill the trucks and sending them out. This is Very Complicated Requirement which is to be automated. This Interface also Successfully implemented and Running Successfully  even now also.
